LiveProof ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the LiveProof platform at liveproof.ai.

When you register and use LiveProof, we collect:
- Account data: name, email address, date of birth, phone number, country of residence, and selling platform
- Certification photos: listing photos and live reference photos you submit for AI analysis
- Device data: a non-personally-identifiable device fingerprint used to prevent abuse
- Usage data: certification history, scores, and buyer verification events
- Payment data: processed by Stripe; we do not store card details
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the certification service and generate your certificates
- To allow buyers to verify certificates via QR code (public certificate page shows item name, score, and listing photo)
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To prevent fraud and abuse of the platform
- To improve our AI analysis accuracy
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers:
- Anthropic: listing and live photos are sent to Claude AI for analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data.
- Google Firebase: authentication, database, and file storage
- Stripe: payment processing
- Vercel: hosting infrastructure
Your listing photo and certification details are made publicly accessible via the QR verification page so buyers can verify your certificates.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Certification records are retained indefinitely to allow buyers to verify past certificates. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
5. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability

LiveProof uses only functional cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

LiveProof is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
